Our History
A Builder Raised on Experience
Tuscany Builders was not built from a business plan.
It was built from decades of learning, working, and understanding what it takes to create a home the right way.
Dino Presutto began learning construction around the age of 12, working alongside his father in the trades and spending time on jobsites and in the family tile shop.
Those early years were not about running a company. They were about learning the craft.
Dino installed tile floors, bathrooms, countertops, and custom applications, developing a deep understanding of materials, details, and the importance of doing things correctly.
Over time, those lessons became the foundation of his career.
He learned that great construction is not only about how something looks when it is finished. It is about the decisions made before construction begins, the details others may overlook, and the responsibility of standing behind your work.
His father taught him lessons that still guide every Tuscany Builders project today

Dino started in the mid-1970s working in his father's tile contracting business — learning to grout, mix cement, bid jobs, and supervise them through completion. By his early teens, watching homes go up in his neighborhood, he knew he wanted to build. He went on to apprentice under a Marine contractor who taught him plumbing, electrical, drywall, framing, cabinetry, and the "get it done" attitude that still defines Tuscany Builders today.
Over 50 years, Dino has built and remodeled homes across Southern California — from HUD homes in the LA area to luxury custom residences throughout South Orange County. What sets him apart from every other contractor: he never left the jobsite. He is on-site every single day, working alongside his crew from foundation to finish. He can walk into any space and immediately see what needs to move, what needs to come down, and how to make it work — because he has done every part of the job himself, with his own hands.
He holds 3 California contractor licenses, designs every project in-house, and personally oversees each build from the first shovel to the final walkthrough. When you hire Tuscany Builders, you get Dino — not a project manager who has never swung a hammer.
